L'Air du Desert Marocain by Tauer

Andy's own favourite form his collection inspired by memories of a night in Marrakesh; the sweet-smelling air of the Maghreb Desert. A soft, dusky harmony of rock rose, coriander and cumin – with just a hint of bitter orange and Moroccan jasmine. A luxurious lightly spiced base of dry cedar, vetiver and ambergris.

Otherworldly 15 Feb 2017

review by Beth

"This fragrance has a truly enchanting quality, which seems otherworldly while at the same time utterly familiar. It's also neither masculine nor feminine as it evolves curiously as you wear it, echoing you and your surroundings beautifully."

A beautiful product 06 Oct 2016

review by Julie

5 out of 5 stars

"I've been buying this fragrance for my husband for at least 10 years. It is beautiful. I first noticed it on a colleague and went about searching for it. It is quite hard to find in the UK so thank goodness for Les Senteurs. The smell is masculine and attractive and lasts for ages."

A thing of beauty 29 Jul 2016

review by Dean Cowell

"This fragrance is the Mona Lisa of fragrances,a masterpiece,a work of art. It envelopes you in a shroud of dry spices in its initial opening then develops into a slightly sweet woody Amber, beautiful and enchanting. MAGNIFICENT.....10/10"

Marocain 31 May 2016

review by David Ashton-Bell

5 out of 5 stars

"I have two favourite perfumes, one of them is Absolue Pour Le Soir, this is the other one. Whilst Absolue scares and confuses me, whilst beating me about the head with a honey stick, this is just so relaxing, it is the end of a day in an extremely hot climate, when one slips into being human again, except moreso. I also like to say, 'Marocain', in my head, in the voice of Al Pacino, portraying Tony Montana in the movie Scarface. Nevertheless, spicey, ambery, meditative, genius scent here. Great service from Les Senteurs too."

High Mass 27 Dec 2015

review by Peter Martin

5 out of 5 stars

"A fascinating fragrance that evolves beautifully. The top notes are based on the typical spicy scents of the Maghreb: coriander, cumin and petitgrain. The main body of the composition is of warm woods and vetiver joined with a fine amber background. The soft dry scents of a Moroccan evening seem to remind one of the peace of an empty church, the pews of which exude, like thuribles, the memories of countless High Masses"
