A cargo ship from the French colonies in the eighteenth century laden with rum, ylang ylang, oranges, sandalwood and vanilla. Mona’s triumph here is her use of pure orchid vanilla which gives the perfume a dark, rich, woody scent – avoiding the typical sweetness of ersatz vanilla, this wonderful perfume has smoky notes of gaiac wood, leather and Haitian vetiver.
TOP: Petitgrain, clove, rum, bitter orange.
HEART: Vetiver, sandalwood, guaiac wood, ylang-ylang.
BASE: Amber, tonka bean, tolu balsam, leather, musk, Madagascar vanilla.
