Inspiration

"Oranges and lemons say the bells of St.Clements."

Inspired by the nursery rhyme, this is a refined and dazzling reworking of a traditional Eau De Cologne into a chic, ultramodern Eau De Parfum.

Top notes of glittering bergamot, mandarin and lemon lead into a heart of bitter orange, Earl Grey tea and cool neroli. The base is luxuriously green and floral featuring ylang-ylang and vetiver.

As a designer influenced by the environment it is natural that James Heeley should be fascinated by the world of scent. It was in France, through his design work and chance encounter with Annick Goutal that the young Englishman discovered the obscure and secret world of perfume and how fragrances are ‘designed’.
With time his beautifully constructed, natural, light scents evolved into more complex creations such as ‘Cardinal’, ‘Cuir Pleine Fleur’ and his more recent collection of ‘Extrait de Parfum’.
As an autodidact, his continually evolving work now contains a varied collection of unique and vibrant scents, each made according to the art of traditional French perfumery.
