A Chypre for the 21st century. Evocative of the 'chypre' family of fragrances: synonymous with classic style, glamour, and finesse, and named after Coty's 'Chypre' of 1917 that popularised a style of fragrance formed around an accord of bergamot, oakmoss, and patchouli, with floral accents. Chypre 21 builds on these woody mossy notes with rose, saffron, musk and sandalwood. True to the Chypre style, no one element dominates, and this is all accomplished with Heeley's trademark flourish of uplifting freshness!
With time his beautifully constructed, natural, light scents evolved into more complex creations such as ‘Cardinal’, ‘Cuir Pleine Fleur’ and his more recent collection of ‘Extraitde Parfum’.
As an autodidact, his continually evolving work now contains a varied collection of unique and vibrant scents, each made according to the art of traditional French perfumery.
