Inspiration

A gloriously cool, transparent and refreshing scent inspired by the bewitching magnolia, one of the oldest and most mysterious flowers on our planet. Dissecting the plant in headspace analysis, perfumer Braja Mooherjee discovered that the molecular composition of magnolia flowers is much closer to a classic eau de cologne than a grander, lusher floral structure. This accord was used in Editions de Parfums home fragrance Jurassic Flower. Now Carlos Benaim extends the concept to perfume: Eau de Magnolia is an aqueous beauty which floats on a heart of vetiver, sunny grapefruit, earthy patchouli and and cedar. Amber and tree moss give the base a classic discreet chypre twist. Super-stylish, sexually ambiguous and impeccably elegant,  Eau de Magnolia is the perfect scent for warm weather, for fresh mornings and sultry intimate evenings.
