Inspiration

Pedro de Almodovar’s flamboyant Muse Rossy de Palma materialises in the shining rose gardens of Eau de Protection.

Black pepper from Madagascar, ginger and bergamot meld with Bulgarian roses, jasmine, benzoin, patchouli and incense. At the deepest depth, a troubling metallic note.

A gorgeous sensuality; colour, vibrancy, and scent of a rosefull of dangerous alluring spiciness - a narcotic fragrance.

Etat Libre d'Orange
Etat Libre d'Orange

Etat libre d'Orange is the creation of the South African born but truly international, and very conceptual, Etienne de Swardt. "Perfume is Dead! Long Live Perfume!" is his war-cry, celebrating a new No Man’s Land of perfume where literally anything goes, where “provocative” does not just mean saucy teasing but cocking a shocking snook at authority and the establishment, and advancing the frontiers of olfactory science, art and discovery.

The brilliant team of Noses flaunt their sexuality in their creations, but however avant-garde, Etat Libre d'Orange's standards of craftsmanship and quality are second to none. Their materials are of the finest quality, their inspirations are eclectic; their fragrances addictive.
