Jasmine

The word Jasmine comes from the Persian word Yasmine meaning fragrance. There are over 200 species of jasmine but only two - Jasmine Sambac and Jasmine Grandiflorum - are commonly used in perfumery.

Their tiny white flowers are known for their sensual, exotic and rich floral night-time scent with sweet overtones and a faint additive animalistic undertone.

Acknowledged as the King of Flowers, natural Jasmine Absolute is one of the most expensive raw ingredients in perfumery.  Imbued with mood-boosting qualities Jasmine can be romantic, sensual or downright sexy - its versatility within a perfume has earnt it's place as one of the most used and respected ingredients in the industry.
