We are committed to making Les Senteurs and our carefully curated fragrance collection available to customers around the world.

As fragrances are classified as Dangerous Goods, they require specialist packaging, handling and courier services. These regulations make international shipping considerably more expensive than standard parcel delivery.

For many years we absorbed a significant proportion of these costs ourselves. However, following continued increases in international shipping charges, we have had to update our delivery rates to better reflect the true
cost of safely transporting perfume worldwide. Additionally, as an independent boutique, we are unfortunately unable to negotiate the shipping rates available to large international retailers and global groups, making it increasingly difficult for us to absorb these rising costs.

While our shipping charges have changed, we are pleased to now offer international customers 10% off their first order when signing up to our newsletter, which we hope helps make discovering your next fragrance a little easier.

International shipments do not attract UK VAT but may be subject to local duties and taxes.

All goods are shipped DAP - Delivery At Place. The price you pay to Les Senteurs will exclude all relevant import duties and sales taxes. Payment of these local duties taxes is YOUR responsibility.

Your carrier will contact you via email to let you know what duties are due and how these can be paid to release your order.

As we are unable to advise you on the exact cost for any local taxes and duties, we recommend contacting your local Customs office or tax authority before placing any order.

Due to significant surcharges for shipping fragrance internationally there is a minimum order value of £150. However we can recalculate your shipping charge if your basket value is less.

Please note that if import duty or taxes are not paid, the carrier will return the shipment to us. In these circumstances, the original and return shipping costs will be your responsibility and will be deducted from any refund issued.

As of August 2025, the United States has removed the $800 De Minimis allowance. This means that all orders shipped from Les Senteurs to the US now incur import taxes, payable on delivery.

As we ship goods on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis, customers are responsible for any import, state, or customs charges applied by US authorities.

Please note that these changes may also cause slight delays in shipping times as new processes are introduced.
