General FAQs

Am I eligible to use Klarna?

You must be a UK resident, over 18 years old and have a valid payment card to use Pay in 3 or Pay Later. When we say ‘valid payment card’, we mean the card must be in your name, and must not have expired. You should also make sure the card you use has enough money available to cover all the instalments or your full payment. Pay in 3 and Pay Later are both a credit product. It’s Klarna’s decision whether or not they start a credit agreement with you.

What happens if I cancel or return an order paid for via Klarna?

If you choose to cancel or return your purchase, you must follow our standard returns and cancellation policy and contact our customer service team. As the payment provider, Klarna can’t cancel your order. Once your order has been successfully cancelled by Les Senteurs, Klarna will cancel your outstanding payment that are due. If you want to return part of your order, you’ll only have to pay for the goods you want to keep.

Will a credit search take place?

Klarna may run a soft credit search that does not affect credit scoring and is only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor Les Senteurs run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating.

Will Klarna automatically cancel remaining payments if I return an item before I have paid for it in full?

Yes, once our customer services team have processed your refund, Klarna will automatically adjust your balance owed.

What happens if I miss a payment?

If Klarna are unable to collect the Pay in 3 payment on the scheduled date, they will try again. If the second payment fails, the amount due for the missed payment will be added to the next scheduled payment.

You’ll receive a payment reminder if you’ve missed the due date of your Pay in 30 days statement.

Please contact Klarna here if you are having issues with making payments.

How can I view outstanding payments?

You can view outstanding payments and balances within the customer portal at Klarna.com or via the Klarna App.
