Join us for an intimate evening with Akbar Khan, one half of the visionary partnership that founded Memoirs of a Perfume Collector, alongside Shadi Samra, the celebrated nose and perfumer behind their latest release, Cherry Lane.
In just a few short years, Memoirs of a Perfume Collector has established itself as one of Britain's most exciting fragrance brands, captivating perfume lovers with evocative scents inspired by travel, memory and discovery. Over drinks and conversation, Aki will reflect on the realities of launching and nurturing an independent fragrance house in today's market, sharing the triumphs, challenges and unexpected moments that have shaped the brand's remarkable journey.
Joining him will be Shadi Samra, one of this decade's rising superstar perfumers, who will offer a glimpse behind the curtain of modern perfumery. From the spark of an idea to the final composition, he will reveal some of the secrets behind creating fragrances that resonate with collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Chaired by our very own in-house expert - guests will also have the opportunity to discover the stories behind Cherry Lane and other favourites from the collection, before putting their own questions to our speakers.
The event will run from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm. Tickets cost £25 per person, redeemable against any purchase from the Memoirs of a Perfume Collector collection made on the evening.
