Fleur Nocturne was originally designed for Isabey in 1925 by the perfumer Julien Viard, as a successor to their glorious GARDENIA (already stocked by Les Senteurs). Originally known as Bleu de Chine, this legendary perfume is now recreated as FLEUR NOCTURNE in its distinctive blue and tangerine flacon. An exceptionally rich but delicate fragrance, the top notes consist of white peach, apricot blossom and mandarin. The wonderful lush heart is a precious blend of jasmine, magnolia and gardenia prolonged with a base of patchouli, amber and vanilla.
Isabey is an ‘arthouse’ perfume Brand. Luxury, rarity, elegance and tradition with a contemporary touch are the quintessence of the niche and confidential House. “A perfume should be not so much an image or a concept, but rather a work of art, a creation of excellence with its own story to tell”.
The contemporary lines result from the collaboration of Art Director Rania Naim and perfumer Jean Jacques. Both are inspired by the rich heritage of the House, art deco codes, rare essences and noble ingredients.
Isabey Paris was created by Baron Henry James de Rothschild in 1924.
It soon acquired a worldwide reputation for the unique quality of its creations and the refinement of its luxurious presentations.
Isabey proposed a legendary line of perfumes with poetic names, inciting to long journeys: « La Route d’Emeraude », « L’Ambre de Carthage », « Lys Noir », « Le Chypre Celtique », « Le Bleu de Chine »,
Due to the historical events, Isabey had to close its doors in 1941.
Since 1999, these mythical fragrances are reedited.
Isabey Paris is only available in the world’s most luxurious perfumeries.
